What is Riggatti's Wood Fired Pizza?
Riggatti's Wood Fired Pizza is a locally owned pizzeria with two Southern Utah restaurants, one at 28 N 300 West in downtown Washington and one on North Bluff Street in St. George. It makes Neapolitan-style artisan pizza, with dough made fresh daily using real olive oil, baked in wood-fired ovens at 700 degrees.
Riggatti's describes its pizza as artisan pizza "patterned after the Neapolitan style." The dough goes through a triple rising process, and the high heat of the oven gives the thin crust its charred, blistered edges. Riggatti's is locally owned and operated, not a national chain. SGWOM is not affiliated with the restaurant.
Does Riggatti's have a location in Washington, Utah?
Yes. Riggatti's Washington restaurant is at 28 N 300 West, Washington, UT 84780, in a historic building near Telegraph Street, and its phone number is (435) 359-9900. It is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and closed on Sunday and most major holidays. The second store is on North Bluff Street in St. George.
| Store | Address | Phone | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Washington | 28 N 300 West, Washington, UT 84780 | (435) 359-9900 | Historic building, seating downstairs and upstairs |
| St. George | 1091 N Bluff Street, Suite 1002, St. George, UT 84770 | (435) 674-9922 | Salad bar, gelato and beer |

Riggatti's menu: what to order
What should you order at Riggatti's?
For a first visit, the Margherita shows off the wood-fired crust: red sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, kosher salt and olive oil. For something less traditional, try the Limone, the current "reigning champ" with Alfredo, chicken, cilantro and sriracha ranch, or the house Riggatti pizza with creamy pesto, chicken, olives and feta.
Every pizza comes in a 12-inch medium (six slices) or a 14-inch large (eight slices), or on a 10-inch gluten-free cauliflower crust (six slices). The "reigning champ" is the best-selling pizza of the month, which stays on the menu until a new pizza of the month outsells it. October's contender is the Vampire Killer: red sauce, four cheese blend, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, minced garlic and a ranch drizzle.
| Pizza | What's on it |
|---|---|
| Margherita | Red sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, kosher salt, olive oil |
| The Limone (the "Reigning Champ") | Alfredo base, four cheese blend, chicken, red onion, diced tomato, fresh cilantro, sriracha ranch drizzle, lemon wedges |
| Riggatti | Creamy pesto sauce, four cheese blend, chicken, olives, feta |
| The Caprese | Pesto base, fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil, kosher salt, balsamic glaze drizzle |
| Phil (combination) | Red sauce, four cheese blend, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, olives |
| Carnivore | Red sauce, four cheese blend, pepperoni, ham, sausage, bacon |
| CBR (chicken bacon ranch) | Ranch sauce, four cheese blend, chicken, bacon, diced tomatoes, light BBQ drizzle |
| Alfredo | Alfredo sauce, four cheese blend, chicken, mushrooms, diced tomatoes |
| Pollo | Red sauce, four cheese blend, chicken, bacon, red onion, BBQ sauce on top |
| Islander | Red sauce, four cheese blend, fresh-cut pineapple, ham, light BBQ drizzle |
| Brandy’s Luau | BBQ sauce, four cheese blend, bacon, chicken, fresh-cut pineapple |
| Veggie | Red sauce, four cheese blend, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, green peppers, olives, feta |
| Pepperoni and Cheese | Red sauce and four cheese blend, with or without pepperoni |
You can add regular toppings such as jalapeño, artichoke hearts, fresh mozzarella or basil, and meat toppings including Canadian bacon. The online menu does not print pizza prices, so check the ordering page for current prices.
